Schonbrunn Palace: Vienna, Austria

The day before we hit up Schonbrunn Palace, my mom, Daniel, and I went through the Sisi exhibit at the Hofburg museum. Because we had already spent a couple hours touring old bedrooms, etc, we didn’t really feel like shuffling around a very crowded palace with hundreds thousands of other tourists. The lines for tickets alone were overwhelming! Instead, we spent a few hours in the garden. And what a garden!

After we hiked around a bit, Daniel and I wanted to play. He got lost in a maze as I took photos and video. It was funny because I could see him from the “tree house” and tried guiding him in the right direction. There was also this giant bird swing thing. Note the scared little girl inside? She wouldn’t budge. Finally a woman posted for a photo while she was in it, and I was like “Okay, I’m doing the same.” Although I really wanted to ride it. HMPH. ::tantrum:: 😛

Thanks to Daniel and my parents for a few of the photographs. 🙂

  1. LOVE it. I have been there! Many, many, many moons ago. It's pretty stunning and the history is fascinating. Loved "revisiting" my own trip there in your post, lady! 🙂 Thank you. 🙂
